COVID-19 Update – Oct. 14, 2020

As of this date, we are pleased to announce that PHCC continues to remain COVID-free with no active cases of the virus.  As always, we continue to follow all state and local guidance regarding infection control protocols and procedures to mitigate and prevent any future cases of the virus.

Our next round of COVID-19 mass testing of all staff and residents is scheduled to take place on October 28th, 2020.  The need for mass testing remains to be determined not only by any potential cases of the virus within the facility but also by the rate of community transmission of the virus.  We continue to test as needed in the event that a staff member or resident develops Covid-related symptoms.  We also require negative testing before admissions/readmissions and on an as needed basis.

Visitation continues to take place by appointment only, with strict guidelines to maintain the safety and well-being of our residents.  We are extremely happy that residents and loved ones are able to see each other in-person again.

As always, we encourage anyone with questions or concerns regarding this ever-evolving situation to reach out to us directly at (304) 487-3458.  We appreciate ongoing prayers and support, and ask for your prayers for others in our community battling this virus.
