COVID-19 Update – Feb. 16, 2021

Princeton Health Care Center (PHCC) is a Not for Profit, Skilled Nursing Facility. We are licensed to provide care to 120 residents and employ 167 dedicated team members. Our team continues to strive to be transparent with our residents, staff and our community throughout the Covid Pandemic.

Recently there were two potential cases of Covid-19 that were associated with Princeton Health Care Center. Further testing was conducted and both potential cases were ruled out. As of today, there are no identified Covid cases involving residents or employees at PHCC.

Our team members continue to follow the federal guidelines as set forth by The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services(CMS), related to testing and ongoing infection control precautions.

Routine biweekly testing of employees continues. In the event that any resident or employee becomes symptomatic, immediate testing is completed and additional interventions are initiated. Residents are currently being tested as outlined by CMS guidelines.

Employees are screened for Covid related symptoms at the beginning of each shift, before they enter resident care areas. Increased cleaning procedures remain in place. The use of personal protective equipment including the use of N95 masks remains in use by all employees.

Another round of Covid-19 testing was completed on 2-15-21. Visitation guidelines will be reviewed once those results are received. Until then, visitation remains suspended at this time. We continue to encourage loved ones to remain connected with our residents through phone calls, Skype video calls, window visits, cards and letters. Our team will communicate any changes as they occur.

A third Covid-19 vaccination clinic was recently completed on 1-28-21.

Stay well and God Bless!
